क्या हुआ??

I just channel surfed onto Univision, and this girl was being serenaded by an entire Mariachi band. I don’t know if I’ll ever get engaged or married, but I know that if and when I do get engaged…it had better involve Mariachis in some sense.

Also, telenovelas are so intense.

Sooooo, basically the best day ever. I met with my boss this morning and he gave me a basic outline of some of the work I’ll be doing. I’m really excited about all the stuff I’ll be doing. Some of it is a little unfamiliar, but I’m sure I can figure it out.

Then I got home and out of the blue I got an email. I was like “what the heck is this?…Congratulation?” I MADE THE DEAN’S LIST. As most of my friends know, I got a 3.92 GPA for the semester (all A’s except for one A-), which brought me up to a 3.45 overall. I have never had such a high GPA. I know it’s not amazing compared to a lot of other students, but for me it’s just absolutely fantastic. Both of my parents are extremely excited, and my mom is taking me out for Bharatiy Khana.

Not only that, but then my dad called to congratulate me…and he listened to me, and apologized….for everything. I almost cried.

This has been a really good day.
