क्या हुआ??

I guess I should probably start up this blog again. It’s been almost a month since I returned from India! India was fantastic. I got some good comments on my other blog and I’m finally starting to put up pictures. It’s been slow going though, since this semester is really busy.

I do have some exciting news! I’m sure that most or all of the people who read this blog already KNOW my news, but it’s dang awesome so I’ll just say it again!

I GOT INTO GRADUATE SCHOOL!!! Yeah that’s right, the University of Texas: Austin wants me so bad. They had originally nominated me for this one diversity fellowship. I got turned down for that one, but the committee all got together and decided that I’m super cool. Sooooooooooo they’re putting together some sort of fellowship package just for me!! I don’t know exactly what this will include, but the point is:

I AM GOING TO TEXAS FOR GRADUATE SCHOOL!

They have an absolutely fantastic South Asia Studies M.A., too! Ya’allah, I’ve been in absolute shock for the past two weeks.

I’m also graduating this semester, which kind of goes without saying, but it’s still pretty sweet!!
